I let them choose which they wanted first, dinner or dessert. Of course they chose dessert. So I gave them "cupcakes" At first they thought it was playdoh on top it was really mashed potatoes. The cake part was meatloaf. Then dinner was fish sticks and peas. The fish sticks were cookies with peanut butter and cornflakes, the peas were air heads.
The food still tasted good even though it looked a little odd. I even got a few laughs at school today when I took the leftovers for lunch. (Thanks to Family Fun for the fun idea.)

Good IDEA! That is funny. Ganna have to remember that one for the future.
How fun! I bet your boys thought that was entertaining...you gotta love Family Fun for all their creativeness! Glad to see a post...your boys are getting so big!
That's awesome! I didn't even think to be creative. I guess when you are celebrating your anniversary on April fool's, you get a little sidetracked! Anyway, Happy Birthday in a couple days! :)
I totally thought about doing the fish sticks and peas - - I actually made the "juice". Colby sucked and sucked through his straw trying to get it out. I finally had to tell him it was Jello. We laughed about it for a long time - - Yes, thank you Family Fun!
Cute and fun!! I love the idEA!
