This is a picture at the top of the lift. It was foggy at the top of the lift most of the time we were there but the runs were great!
We ate breakfast and lunch at the same little cafe everyday. They had great food and it was convinent.

David started the trip off by getting lost on the first two runs down the hill. The first time he was back with Kelly and I was a little ahead with Kage. Kelly went off a hill and David decided he wanted to follow me instead. Problem was he didn't know where I went. After some help from the some strangers he finally made it down. On the next time down he went a little ahead. Took a wrong turn and then climbed back up the hill and came down. In the mean time I had gone ahead and Kelly stayed back to look for him. David came out before Kelly did but all was good. David learned to stay a little closer the rest of the trip.
They had the best kids area I have ever seen! It had a beginner terrain park that Kelly and the boys had fun trying out some jumps and boxes. Here's Kelly and David going off the jump. Kage struggled a little more with the jump but he had fun trying.
Friday night the moon looked incredible coming up over the mountain. It had been cloudy most of the day but right at the end of the day it cleared up. This picture doesn't do it justice but it was beautiful.
That night we went on a sleigh ride dinner. The horse drawn sleigh took us from the resort through the forest to a yurt. Where they served a delicious dinner of hot scones, steak or chicken, dutch oven potatoes, mixed vegetables, then cheesecake for dessert. If you ate very much of one item they were right there filling your plate with more food than you could eat. It was a very fun outing.
The further up the hill you went the more the trees looked like this. It is hard to imagine that these are pine trees! They have layers and layers of snow and ice on them.
Saturday afternoon after we were done skiing/ boarding for the afternoon the boys went sledding. They got to ride what they called the magic carpet up to the top of the hill then ride down in these fun tubes. They had a blast!
Here is quick video clip of the boys coming down the hill.
Sunday it was the long drive home. We had a great trip and are now looking forward to going on another ski trip to Lake Tahoe at the end of the month with some of Kelly's family.
